About Dr. Michele M Arnold

It is my passion to help you look and feel good inside and out! I have been practicing Oriental Medicine in the Poway and San Diego area since the year 2000. I have always loved learning about biology, anatomy, and how the human body works. Naturally, I studied Biology in college with the intent of following a career path in the health field. It was the study of Medical Botany, and subsequent acquisition of natural medicine books and herbal texts that inspired me to study acupuncture and Medical Herbology. I believe in what I do, therefore I use this medicine for myself, family, friends, and my two children. I provide the same level of care for you as I do for them. Michele Arnold completed her doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (D.A.C.M.) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in August, 2016. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, in 1999, with a Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (M.T.O.M.). Michele’s Bachelor of Science degree is in Biology, received in 1993 from San Diego Sate University, San Diego, CA. She holds both a California State Acupuncture license (L.Ac.), and she is currently a Diplomat (Dipl. Ac. & C.H.) of the National Board of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology (NCCAOM). Currently, Michele maintains a private practice in Poway, serving the North County Inland area of San Diego. This includes Rancho Bernardo, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Scripps Ranch, 4S Ranch, and Escondido. Outside of work, Michele enjoys hiking, yoga, reading, cooking, and spending time with her two young boys.
