Recover quicker from traumatic brain injury

The whole body approach to healing your brain
03-03-2020

Have you or someone you love suffered from a traumatic brain injury or a concussion? Many mild traumatic brain injuries resolve on their own, but some don’t. Acupuncture has been shown to help with post-concussion symptoms such as:
Headache/Dizzyness
Vomiting/Nausea
Irritability and/or Impulsiveness
Confusion or Amnesia
Ringing in the Ears
Slurred Speech
Stiff Neck and Shoulders
Traumatic Brain Injuries are hidden and are therefore not dealt with well with our current systems. Usually your doctor will tell you to rest and may have you try physical therapy. Rest is good, but if your body doesn’t have the building blocks it needs to heal, it may get stuck. Physical therapy is great to help rebuild connections and help overcome physical limitations, but it probably won’t help your brain get to the point of repair.
At Acupuncture Associates of Castle Rock, we have a 4 step process to assess your nutritional and energetic status, switch you to repair mode, feed your brain what it needs to heal and keep adapting your plan as you gain improvement in your health.
This 4 step process will assist your brain to heal faster and help you mitigate symptoms as you continue to repair your brain.
Our clients are able to return to work and school faster. Acupuncture has helped them have less frequent symptoms that are less severe then when they came in. Together with the correct nutrition for your brain you can expect faster, more complete healing from your traumatic brain injury.
