About Dr. Lori Beth Schneider

I am a Board Certified Adult Neurologist who graduated from New York University School of Medicine in 1990 and completed my Neurology residency at Albert Einstein School of Medicine, NY in 1994. I have operated a small private Adult Neurology practice in Cornelius, NC since 1994. Over the years, my practice has evolved into a more integrative practice, offering my patients the best of Western and Alternative medicine. My goal is to use a more holistic approach to help my patients achieve good health. I became certified in Medical Acupuncture by the Academy of Pain Research in San Francisco, CA in 2019. I practice ear and body acupuncture and electroacupuncture. I specialize in treating headaches, back and neck pain, neuropathy, neuralgia, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, perimenopausal symptoms and fibromyalgia. I also offer my patients vitamin testing and nutritional counselling, and strive to minimize the use of prescription medications, by using natural supplements and herbs.
