Andrea Smous, Dipl.Ac. (NCCAOM), A.P., A.D.S. is an acupuncture physician, acupuncture detoxification specialist, meditation teacher, and holistic addiction/substance abuse disorder consultant. She is a Florida state licensed acupuncturist, certified in acupuncture injection therapy (AIT/biopuncture) and NCCAOM Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture. Andrea completed undergraduate studies in Health Science (2006) and holds a bachelor's degree in Education (1996) and a master's degree in Oriental Medicine (2006). Her professional interest includes pain alleviation, fertility enhancement, cosmetic rejuvenation, and mental health well-being. In addition to her private practice, Andrea continues to assist as an acupuncture detoxification specialist in various tri-county substance abuse treatment centers. Prior to her carrier as an acupuncture physician, Andrea was born and raised in the Czech Republic where she worked as an elementary teacher. Andrea discovered the healing power of Traditional Chinese Medicine through her own recovery from illness, and it helped her to reclaim her health and overall well-being.
