About Mr. Andy Alzamora

Hello, my name is Andy Alzamora. I have over 10 years of experience in the medical profession - started my career in Physical Therapy working in nursing homes and outpatient clinics and from there I used my medical knowledge in western medicine and combined it with my education in Eastern medicine as a acupuncturist. I specialize in Japanese acupuncture techniques to treat musculoskeletal injuries, ranging from addiction, neck, shoulder, low back, sciatic, knee, feet, post surgical and abdominal pain. I have earned a associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant, a bachelor's degree in Medical Humanities, a Masters degree in Acupuncture, and have been to 3rd world countries providing acupuncture for people without medical insurance, I also have background in martial arts, specifically Bagua Zhang and Qigong (I still practice presently) and use this knowledge to guide my patients with therapeutic exercises for injuries that require strengthening because of structural imbalances sustained through injury/ trauma. My techniques to help people have a better quality of life include acupuncture, physical therapeutic exercises, qigong, electrical stimulation (through acupuncture), moxibustion, cupping, and massage. Presently I reside and helping people in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah.
