Hello, I'm Sharon Pruss, L.Ac., MSOM. I've been in practice for over 19 years, with specialties in women's health, fertility (male factor too), autoimmunity, digestion and pain. I formerly practiced in California, where Acupuncturists are considered primary care providers. I was also licensed in Rhode Island where Acupuncturists are called Doctors of Acupuncture. What makes me unique is that I also integrate Functional Medicine & Functional Nutrition where needed in complex cases. Functional Medicine, like Traditional Chinese Medicine, looks at root cause, which makes it very effective in treating cases that western medicine cannot help. It allows me to do much needed lab testing too. I often see patients with psoriasis, overactive bladder, male factor infertility, digestive disorders, pain, thyroid disease, irregular menses, Covid long haul, neurological challenges and during pregnancy. I am in-network with most insurances in MA, and also participate in the Veterans Community Care network. I accept all forms of payment including FSA/HSA. I have three offices in MA with Acton being my primary location and Lexington and Weymouth as satellite offices. I'm currently accepting new patients at all three. I look forward to helping you!
